The Dark Side of Disneyland

originally posted:  March 19, 2007

First some big news to address. In order to better merge my Myspace with Facebook I've decided to start posting these on Facebook as well as Myspace. It has come to my attention that some of my friends only have one, either Myspace or Facebook. I need to better accomadate those people. It has also come to my attention that some of my friends have neither. I don't care about those people. And don't think you are cool 'cause you have both, you're not. I do however expect you to read Myspace and Facebook version.

As some of you may already know Marty went to Disneyland on Tuesday. If you don't already know let me be the first to tell you. Marty went to Disneyland on Tuesday. It was so fun. For visual evidence of how much fun it was you can look at a few of the pictures via myspace. If you look at my facebook pictures there is even more evidence of my fun time. I recommend facebook, as there is way more pictures there. Even the pictures of me in the line ride you can tell that I was faking not having fun.

We did everthing. We rode the Star Wars ride, Space Mountain, the Buzz Lightyear thing, all the kid rides, the Pirate ride, Indiana Jones, Haunted Manison and numerous others. As if that wasn't fun enough, we even made the trek over to California Adventure.

Disneyland truly is the second happiest place in the world. It may actaully be first, but it just makes more sense if Disney World is first. Either way Disneyland is really fun.
They even have this cool thing now called Disney Photo Pass. They have people stationed around the park to take pictures. They have their nice cameras and everything. They give you these little cards and after they take the pictures they scan it in this little scanner. Then you go online and you can get the pictures you had taken. And it's all free. Disneyland couldn't get any better.

I even got sexually assulted by Pluto. I took a picture of him as he was coming right at me. You can see that picture on Facebook. But you know what I didn't care. I was just happy to be in Disneyland.

Disneyland was so fun that it completely wore me out. And it takes a lot to wear me out. I was on top of the world

I went and had a big meal at Red Robin. Which was located in out hotel! Is there anything Disneyland can't do. They put a restaurant in our freaking hotel, just for me. I love Disneyland.

After finishing eating, I went up the elevator to the room. Did you hear that? After I ate at a restaurant I went up an elevator that went right to my room. Thank you Disneyland. After my bi-hourly Myspace/Facebook check I was off to disneyphtopass.com. The pictures weren't up yet. That was to be expected as it was just a few short hours ago that we were there. I'm sure it takes time to get all the pictures up and loaded.

I love Disneyland.

I was so tuckered out that I feel asleep with ease. Thank you Disneyland. I even got to sleep in. Thank you Disneyland.

Upon waking up I immediatly hit up disneyphotopass.com. That is after I checked myspace/facebook. THE PICTURES WERE UP!! Disneyland rocks. There was so many pictures. Like 20 or something. There was us in front of the castle, us in front of that thing and us in front of lots of other things. I was almost as happy as when I was at Disneyland. After viewing all the pictures I decided I should save them so I could view them for all of time. That way whenever I want to know how much fun Disneyland was I can view the pictures.

What is this? I can't right click on the pictures. I can't drag it into iphoto either. Why Disneyland? Why are you doing this to me. We had such a good time. Now this.

That's when I saw it. It was worse than that time I caught my girlfriend with another guy. There it was, up in the left hand corner of the page. Prices for prints of your pictures. They wanted $20 for 4 wallet size pictures, $12 for one 5X7 and $18 for one 8X10.

We were assured countless times that these pictures were completely free. Now they wanted money. Wait. You can get a CD with all your pictures on it. Surely this would be free. After all we asked and were told countless times that this was all free. What!? $125 for a CD with 20 pictures.

**** you Disneyland
